Is it safe to order goods on the Internet?

Many people have already safely ordered LogoManager from the approved online retailers ShareIt and UKShareReg, and also from a number of other resellers (listed on the web site).  They have done so in the knowledge that the ordering process is both safe and secure.

Some still have concerns regarding the ordering of goods on the Internet.  Indeed, if people have obtained your credit card information from some source, then the Internet is a possible place that fraudsters can go in order to buy items using your details.  However, this can only occur if someone already has your card details; it should not dissuade you from taking advantage of the convenience offered by the Internet in placing orders yourself.  The secure section of the LogoManager ordering pages are designed so that any information and card details you send to the retailer are transmitted in such a way as to be almost impossible to be intercepted by a third party.

When ordering an item online, there are two questions you should be asking yourself:

  1. Do you feel that you can trust the company selling the item, and just as importantly, do you trust the other company that may be handling your card information?
  2. When entering any confidential information into a form on a web page, is that page on a secure server?  To see if a site is secure, check for the 'padlock' symbol at the bottom of your web browser.

Once you are satisfied that the company is taking satisfactory measures to keep your details from prying eyes, you can safely placing your order.

It is widely regarded that the encryption methods used in Internet ordering are less prone to interception than traditional mail order/telephone ordering.  However if you wish to use these other methods, LogoManager can also be ordered using the printable order form.
